KGAL: Intelligent computing

*KGAL: Knowledge-Generation-and-Application Line

The Intelligent Computing  research line aims to study the foundations of computing methodology and reasoning models used for the intelligent systems development. It includes the generation, adaptation, enhancement, and application of models and algorithms for pattern recognition, neural networks, machine learning, among others. In the same way, it includes the integration of these algorithms in embedded or mobile devices, using the Internet of Things to solve problems in different areas, contributing to multidisciplinary application of knowledge.

KGAL: High Performance Computing and Emergent Networks

This LGAC provides a comprehensive foundation in high-performance computing technologies, computer architecture, networks, supercomputing, and their practical applications. As well as extensive knowledge of digital systems, microprocessors, supercomputer systems, and parallel programming. High-performance computing technologies can be used to program both, supercomputers from thousands of processors, and multi-core mobile devices.
